Leah still remembered the day it all happened, they were together, entangled in bed with their naked bodies pressed together after satisfying sex but suddenly they felt something change inside them.

Thankfully, a few days later they succeeded in evolving and when they came to know about the chances of survival, they thanked God for their luck... "Yeah, you could say that, we were extremely lucky..."
"I see..." Lukas nodded before asking another question, "About those two, Anna and Nathan, are they a couple too?"
"Hm?" Leah was surprised, "How did you come to that conclusion?"
"Well, just a guess, I felt that Nathan wasn’t very pleased with me sitting in the middle of them..."
"Oh, that... Actually no, they are not a couple... although Nathan does like Anna but he hasn’t confessed to her and given how Anna still hasn’t been able to let go of her past completely, she always avoids these types of topics, making it harder for Nathan to do so..." Leah shook her head while sighing, "Nathan is a good guy and he really likes Anna but he is just too shy in front of her..."
Lukas nodded in understanding, "Quite interesting..."
Leah became curious, "What’s with you? All of a sudden you want to know about my team’s personal life? Interested in finally joining?"
Lukas’ lips curled up slightly, "Oh no, not that, I haven’t tasted tender warmth for a long time, since you aren’t going to let me have some of that tenderness, I was thinking if Anna was available or not... tough life for guys like me in this apocalypse, it is hard to find a good woman to relieve some stress from all this hunting and danger."
Lukas didn’t mince his words at all and when Leah heard that, her cheeks turned red...
She didn’t know what to say in reply. On one hand, Lukas had made it clear that he wasn’t going to force her to do something against her will after removing his hand from her back when she told him to do so, on the other hand he was totally unhinged about using proper words.
Should she again ask him not to bring up these topics while talking to her? Would it be too much to ask? Technically she was alive at his mercy...
Sigh, she should be happy that he wasn’t doing anything inappropriate to her without her consent, nevertheless, she would choose her words wisely to make sure she stayed free from self-guilt, "That joke isn’t funny, you know..."
"What? You think it’s a joke... oh well, forget it, how would you know, how about leaving Leon dry for a week and see how he feels about it... tsk." Lukas snickered.

Another sound of a twig breaking was heard by them.
Leah became quiet while her mind went through his words, she didn’t know about Leon but would she herself even be able to hold on that long?
She liked sex herself, in fact who didn’t. As Lukas had said, after hunting, blowing off steam was a must for them. It had become an integral part for most evolvers as who knew when they would die in this dangerous world.
That’s why she also become little annoyed when Leon was sometimes unavailable for a few days due to some other mission different from their team.
This was also why she tried to matchmake Anna with Nathan as both of them would just stress themselves if they didn’t blow off some steam and it would affect the team in the long run.

The sound of wind from the bow hit Leah’s ears before another jerk was felt in her nether region. This made her grit her teeth, "Th-that was on purpose, isn’t it?"
"Hm? What was on purpose?" Lukas feigned ignorance. Since she had ignored him poking her, it would be hard for her to blame him about it now.
As expected, when Leah heard that, she didn’t reply, she could only accept the current condition, "Fuck, you are no different than those horny creeps..."
